Coat, no tie is the attire for both the rehearsal dinner (invite only) and welcome party (all are welcome!). Think cocktail attire, just a little more comfortable.
For those attending both events, we encourage a suit jacket or blazer with dress pants and a collard shit — no tie required! For those only attending the welcome party, know that it’s a very relaxed event in a dive bar, so a jacket is welcome but not required.

St. Michaels is about 1.5 hours from 3 major airports - BWI, DCA, and SBY. Please refer to our travel page for information on flights, airport shuttles and rental cars.

St Michaels weather has some range in the spring! It's usually brisk 60-70s and sunny during the day, but can bring some quick showers in the late afternoon. In the evening, it cools down and can get a bit chilly, especially on the water. We recommend sweaters or jackets are for wedding night!
-
Due to space limitations and to ensure an intimate gathering, we kindly request that only guests whose invitations explicitly include “and guest” bring a companion.
-
While we love your little ones, we want this night to be worry free for all our guests so we ask that you come without small children and ready to have some fun!

Yes! Transportation will be provided to and from the wedding on Saturday from the St. Michaels Inn and the Harbour Inn (please refer to the lodging page for additional information on the hotels).

The dress code is black tie optional, with tuxes and long evening dresses preferred. While the tent will have flooring, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be on grass, so please be mindful when selecting the shoes you’ll wear for the evening.
LADIES: Because the ceremony and cocktail hour will be on trimmed grass, we strongly recommend planning shoes around this, such as block heels, wedges, or flats.
